Washington DC/Athens, Greece — September 2026 —Monaco royalty, Formula 1 drivers and a constellation of global leaders in government, science and industry are heading to Athens this October for WGES Global™ Athens 2026 — and organizers say tickets to the flagship Symposium and the star-studded NOVA Awards evening are moving quickly at www.WGESglobal.com.
The evening of October 7 will bring Monaco glamour to Greece, as the WGES Global™ NOVA Awards honor the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation for international leadership in climate, biodiversity and ocean protection, alongside Formula 1’s Sustainability Strategy, recognized for its Net Zero Carbon by 2030 commitment. Through Nazionale Piloti, Formula 1 drivers and international motorsport personalities are expected to make special appearances, joined by Greek-American performer in a special performance. Additional 2026 NOVA Award recipients include Dr. Dionysia-Theodora Avgerinopoulou, Professor Ashish Joshi and Myconian Collection Hotels & Resorts, with a special award created by Greek sculptor Exsekias Trivoulides and the main NOVA Awards created by Athens-born sculptor Nikoletta Breeze. Daisy Gallagher and Dr. Kostas Mastorakis, DVM, will co-host.
